This scene captured my attention during a family outing to Ebey’s Landing on Whidbey Island. The piles of clouds and driftwood seemed to be moving to the same stormy rhythms. I have good memories of this place and enjoyed revisiting it through the painting.

This was another painting that as I started I did not have the ability to complete. I had to learn as I went along, and trust I'd know what I needed at the finish.
